Bauer Media is one of the world’s largest media businesses, operating multi-platform media in 13 countries. Following the acquisition of Clear Channel, Bauer Media Outdoor required a nationwide fleet rebrand, to align their newly acquired vehicles with the BMO identity. The project involved removing outdated livery and applying new partial wraps and cut graphics across 300 vehicles. Alongside the rebrand, BMO also needed a clear picture of vehicle condition across the fleet - an essential step for effective planning, repair decisions, and long-term asset management.
Aura delivered a full end-to-end solution, starting with in-house vehicle templating and rolling out installations across multiple depots nationwide. But this project had an extra step. At each site, our teams stripped the vehicles, including vans and HGVs before capturing high-resolution photographs of every asset from all angles. These images were uploaded into our AI-powered auditing platform, where advanced image recognition AI assessed and categorised damage, generating a live condition report for each vehicle.
This digital process provided BMO with an accurate, real-time overview of its entire fleet via a bespoke portal designed by Aura. The platform enabled easy access to reports, streamlined communication, and gave BMO one central place to manage all vehicle condition data alongside rebrand progress.
By combining expert fleet branding with AI technology, Aura delivered a rebrand that went far beyond a visual update. In just three months, 300 vehicles were successfully transitioned to BMO’s identity, while the AI auditing service provided invaluable operational insights. Bauer now benefits from a live, digital record of fleet condition to guide future maintenance, repairs, and replacement decisions. This added layer of intelligence enhances the value of the rebrand and creates a long-term asset management tool that will continue to support Bauer’s operations well beyond this project.
